Querio, a London-based analytics platform, launches with $5 million to ensure consistent answers across AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, and Slack. The startup helps data teams keep control of company data and definitions.
Ever asked ChatGPT a question and gotten one answer, then asked Claude the same thing and gotten something totally different? Yeah, it's frustrating. Now imagine that happening with your company's revenue numbers. That's the problem Querio just raised $5 million to solve.
Querio, a London-based startup, launched today with €4.48 million ($5 million) in total funding. The round was led by BMW i Ventures, with participation from LAUNCH (Jason Calacanis's fund), Haatch Ventures, Araya, Forum Ventures, and Secways.
### Why Consistent Answers Matter
As more employees turn to AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT for business questions, the answers they get can vary wildly. Why? Because each tool might be using a different version of your company's data. That means your sales team might see one revenue figure, your marketing team another, and your exec team yet another. Data teams then spend hours reconciling these discrepancies instead of doing new, valuable work.
Querio wants to change that. "Companies want to use AI with their data, but they need to trust the answer," said Javier Bonilla, co-founder and CTO. "Querio lets data teams hand more of the work to AI agents while a person stays in charge of every change that reaches the business."
### How Querio Works
Founded in 2024 by Rami Abi Habib (CEO) and Bonilla (CTO), Querio is an AI analytics platform that keeps a company's reports, definitions, and analysis in the data team's own GitHub. This means the logic isn't locked inside a vendor's product—it's owned by the data team.
Business users can then ask questions in Claude, ChatGPT, or Slack and get consistent answers every time. When something changes in the business—say, sales renames a field in the CRM—Querio's AI agent updates the affected reports and definitions. The data team reviews and approves each change before anyone sees it.
> "For thirty years, analytics tools have kept a company's logic inside the vendor's product, where it's hard to move and hard for AI to work with. Now everyone is asking data questions in Claude, Slack and wherever else they work, and they get three different revenue numbers. We built Querio so the data team owns that logic, and every AI tool in the company answers from it," said Abi Habib.
### Real-World Example
Abi Habib gives a concrete example: "Say sales renames a field in the CRM. The revenue dashboard breaks, the Slack bot says no deals closed last week and Claude gives a third number. With Querio, the agent spots the change, fixes everything that depends on it and sends the data team one update to approve. After that, every tool gives the same answer."
### Security and Compliance
Querio is SOC 2 Type II certified and HIPAA- and GDPR-compliant. It doesn't train on customer data and maintains no-training and no-storage agreements with its AI model providers. The platform works with companies like OpenVPN and agree.com.
So if you're tired of playing detective with your company's data across different AI tools, Querio might just be the solution you've been waiting for.
