The company is already profitable and deployed globally, and with this round, they've got over $1.2 billion in dry powder to execute. ### The Bigger Picture Quantum Systems' Series D didn't happen in a vacuum. European drone, autonomy, and DefenceTech financing has been on fire. In 2026 alone, EU-Startups reported at least $71 million in comparable rounds across unmanned-systems software, UAV guidance, counter-UAS, aerial intelligence, maritime autonomy, and drone-enabled inspection. They raised a $168 million Series C in May 2025, followed by a $189 million extension in November 2025, and a $157 million financing package in February 2026. Add it all up, and the disclosed funding totals about $1.12 billion.
