Apolownia's flagship project is called BlueRizon, a mangrove restoration initiative in Indonesia. We're talking about a massive scale here: more than 4,000 hectares of mangroves. That's roughly 9,900 acres, or about 15 square miles of coastal forest. To put that in perspective, that's bigger than the island of Manhattan.
Mangroves are climate superstars. They store carbon at rates up to four times higher than terrestrial forests, and they provide critical habitat for marine life. Plus, they act as natural barriers against storm surges and sea-level rise. It's a triple win: climate, biodiversity, and coastal protection.
The project has been developed with local partners, and its official launch is planned for the third quarter of 2026. Already, more than 3,000 people are involved in its implementation. Ultimately, the project could benefit over 100,000 people through climate resilience, erosion control, and local economic development.

With this fresh capital, Apolownia plans to scale its model, push BlueRizon forward, and strengthen its structuring and deployment capacity. They're also doubling down on science, technology, and monitoring. The long-term goal?
