The round was backed by a solid group of Nordic investors, including Sarsia, Butterfly Ventures, Proptechfonden, Kiilto Ventures, Nordic Makers, and Momentum. Existing backers like Eviny Ventures, Farvatn Venture, and notable angel investors Erik Bakstad (Ardoq), Gunnar Hvammen, and Herman Flinder also doubled down, showing real confidence in the team's trajectory. ### Why This Funding Matters "This funding round is an important milestone for Birdsview," said CEO Olav Skogen. "With $4.3 million secured, and a Nordic investor consortium that understands both our technology and our market, we now have the resources to scale commercially and industrially across multiple countries. The fact that customers in eight countries have already chosen Birdsview Concrete just weeks after launch shows that we are solving a real problem for the industry." The startup, founded in 2017 by Skogen and Simen Husøy in Trondheim, is tackling a massive challenge: how to see inside concrete without breaking it. The response has been strong, with customers in nine countries already purchasing the product.
