The funding will supercharge its spatial data engine and speed up the AI product roadmap. For a company that started as a university spin-off in 2013, this is a huge vote of confidence from investors who see the built environment as the next big data frontier.

The round was led by The Jordan Company, a US private equity firm. Existing backers like Yttrium, KOZO KEIKAKU ENGINEERING, and Cipio Partners also doubled down. The company's LX-Series scanners (the MLX, VLX 2, and VLX 3) are wearable or handheld devices that use SLAM technology. SLAM, or Simultaneous Localization and Mapping, was developed back in the 1980s to help robots navigate unknown spaces. NavVis has taken that foundational tech and made it fast enough to capture survey-grade data 10 times quicker than traditional methods.
What used to take weeks now takes days. And the results aren't just quick; they're accurate enough for engineering, maintenance, and construction teams to make real decisions on. Over 150,000 users rely on NavVis data to cut downtime on automotive assembly lines, speed up data center construction, and shorten refinery maintenance shutdowns.
