Logicc Raises $2.7M for Secure AI in Sensitive Fields

Hamburg-based Logicc raises $2.7 million for its secure AI platform serving lawyers, doctors, and public institutions. The startup has already surpassed $1.1 million ARR in six months.

It's a bit ironic, isn't it? The industries that handle the most sensitive data—law, medicine, public institutions—are also the ones that have been most cautious about using AI. They have every reason to be. But a Hamburg-based startup called Logicc thinks it has cracked the code. Today, Logicc announced a $2.7 million Seed round (converted from €2.5 million) to grow its secure AI platform. And here's the kicker: they've already passed the $1.1 million ARR mark in just over six months. That's serious traction for a company serving such cautious clients. Investors in this round include the 10X Founders Fund, Redstone, and MS&AD, along with some strategic angel investors. They're betting that Logicc's focus on compliance will unlock a huge, underserved market. ### The Problem They're Solving Benjamin Seifert, co-founder and CRO, puts it plainly: “The past few months have clearly shown us where the greatest unmet need lies: in sectors that work with sensitive data. Lawyers, doctors, public sector organisations – they have all avoided AI because no platform has truly met their compliance requirements. We are changing that.” Think about it. A law firm can't just drop confidential client documents into ChatGPT. A hospital can't risk patient data on a generic cloud service. These organizations need airtight security, and most AI platforms just don't provide it. ### A Wave of Funding for Compliant AI Logicc's round is part of a bigger trend. Investors are pouring money into AI companies that serve regulated industries. Let's look at some recent deals: - **Germany:** Recare (Berlin) raised up to $40.5 million for its hospital AI platform; Blockbrain (Stuttgart) secured $19.2 million for enterprise AI agents; Cognee (Berlin) got $8.2 million for AI memory infrastructure. - **UK:** LegalTech Orbital (London) raised $54.7 million for real estate law AI; Lawhive (London) collected $54.7 million for consumer law AI. - **Other:** Ex Nunc Intelligence (Lausanne) raised $2 million for legal intelligence; Delphyr (Amsterdam) got $1.9 million for healthcare admin AI; Health Lean Analytics (Barcelona) raised $2.3 million for hospital operations AI. All together, these rounds total about $184 million. And including Logicc, it's roughly $187 million. The message is clear: investors believe in AI that can handle privacy, governance, and deployment challenges. ### Why Germany Matters For Logicc, a key signal is that Germany keeps popping up in this list. Recare, Blockbrain, and Cognee all raised funding in 2026. That suggests the domestic market is alive and kicking for secure, enterprise-focused AI. Germany has strict data protection laws, so companies that can navigate them have a real advantage. ### What Logicc Actually Does Co-founder and CEO Emil Woermann has an ambitious goal: “With the capital raised, we have a clear goal: to tenfold our revenue over the next 12 months.” That's a tenfold increase from their current $1.1 million ARR. Logicc was founded in 2025 by Emil Woermann, Jacob Leffers, Benjamin Seifert, and Santiago Martinez-Avial. The platform aggregates top AI models—ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and others—into one secure interface. It offers industry-specific functions, custom AI assistants, and team collaboration features. But the real magic is in the security. The platform is fully GDPR-compliant, follows Section 203 of the German Criminal Code (StGB), and is hosted on German servers only. It uses zero-knowledge architecture with zero data retention. That means even Logicc can't see your data. ### Who's Already Using It Today, over 1,800 organizations rely on Logicc. That includes lawyers, doctors, tax advisors, and public institutions. These are the folks who have been waiting for a safe way to use AI. And now they have one. Jacob Leffers, co-founder and CMO, sums it up: “AI should not be a matter of professional field. With Logicc, even those sectors that have so far been right to hesitate can now benefit – because the security is now in place.” ### What's Next The fresh capital will go into two main areas: expanding the platform's features and ramping up targeted marketing. The goal is to reach more organizations that need compliant AI. And with a proven product and strong investor backing, Logicc is well-positioned to do just that. It's a simple equation: when you make AI safe for the most sensitive industries, you unlock a massive market. And Logicc seems to have figured out the formula.
