Hackuity, a Lyon-based AI-powered Vulnerability Operations Center, just raised €16 million ($19 million) to tackle the "vulnerability tsunami" caused by AI-powered discovery tools.
Hackuity, a Lyon-based AI-powered Vulnerability Operations Center (VOC), just announced a €16 million ($19 million) funding round. The goal? Accelerate product innovation, beef up AI capabilities, and expand across Europe and Asia.
The round was led by Forgepoint Capital International, with existing investors Bright Pixel, Bpifrance, and Seventure Partners chipping in. That brings total funding to €32 million ($38 million).
### The "Vulnerability Tsunami" Is Real—and It's Getting Worse
Patrick Ragaru, CEO and co-founder of Hackuity, didn't mince words:
> "Hackuity was founded on a simple conviction: the volume of vulnerabilities would outpace any human's capacity to respond. Mythos simply validates that thesis, by making the scale of the tsunami impossible to ignore. Having Forgepoint, a globally recognised cybersecurity investor with unmatched sector expertise and a truly global network, lead this round is a strong signal that the market agrees. What we built before the wave arrived is exactly what enterprises need now that it's here: an agentic platform that automates prioritisation and drives remediation at machine speed."
He's talking about Anthropic's Claude Mythos Preview, which identified over 10,000 high or critical severity flaws in under two months. And 99% of them are still unpatched. That's not a typo. It's a crisis.
### Europe's Cybersecurity Funding Heats Up
Hackuity's raise isn't happening in a vacuum. 2026 has already seen a wave of European cybersecurity and AI-security rounds:
- €25.8 million for Paris-based Qevlar AI (agentic Security Operations Centre)
- €15.4 million for Escape (vulnerability discovery and remediation)
- €12.9 million for MokN (credential security)
- €2.1 million for Milan-based Bynario (vulnerability management)
- €17.2 million for NeuralTrust (enterprise AI-agent security)
- €61.5 million for Cloudsmith (software supply-chain security)
- €234 million for Rome-based Exein (Physical AI cybersecurity)
Before Hackuity's announcement, EU-Startups had tracked roughly €395.4 million across European cybersecurity and AI-security rounds in 2026. Add Hackuity's $19 million and that total climbs to about €411 million. Clearly, investors see the writing on the wall.
Damien Henault, Managing Director and Partner at Forgepoint Capital International, explained the bigger picture:
> "Cybersecurity has entered a new era where AI is accelerating both attack and defense. Organisations can no longer rely on traditional vulnerability management approaches to keep pace with the speed and scale of modern threats. Hackuity is building the operational platform enterprises need to transform overwhelming amounts of security data into clear, actionable decisions. Patrick and the team have combined deep cybersecurity expertise with a bold product vision, making Hackuity exactly the kind of category-defining company we look to support."
### What Hackuity Actually Does
Founded in 2018, Hackuity's AI-powered VOC platform helps organizations turn fragmented cyber exposure data into prioritized, actionable remediation. As of 2026, it powers vulnerability operations for more than 6,000 users, protecting over 2 million assets and managing 1 billion findings. The platform pulls together security findings and asset data from more than 130 security tools. Customers include big names like ENGIE and BPCE.
Despite all the money pouring into detection tools, security teams are still drowning in fragmented data, disconnected workflows, and a never-ending pile of findings. There are now 350,000 known Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs) out there. No human team can keep up.
### Why This Matters for Your Business
If you're running a company—especially a startup—this funding news isn't just about Hackuity. It's a signal that the threat landscape is shifting fast. AI is finding bugs faster than we can patch them. Traditional vulnerability management can't keep up. You need automation, prioritization, and a way to cut through the noise.
Hackuity's bet is that enterprises will pay for a platform that does exactly that. And with $19 million fresh in the bank, they're doubling down on making it happen. Whether you're in Europe, the US, or Asia, the vulnerability tsunami is coming for everyone. The question is: are you ready?
