The Munich-based startup just raised €3.5 million (about $3.7 million) in seed funding to connect eTruck fleets with charging infrastructure across Europe. The platform recommends the best charging partners for a fleet's routes, coordinates when and where trucks charge, and ensures both sides commit. For fleet operators, that means reliable charging slots. For charge point operators (CPOs), it means predictable utilization. > "Most players are building vertical point solutions. "That combination of timing and depth is rare, and it is why we invested." ### How It Works FRYTE's open software infrastructure connects logistics platforms to Charge Point Management Systems (CPMS) via industry standards like OCPI. This allows for real-time, cross-border advance bookings. Dispatchers and drivers get optimized tour suggestions and, if needed, reservations with the most suitable charging partners. No more guessing games. No more waiting in line. The company is already fully operational across multi-provider sites and has processed over 200 end-to-end bookings—from dispatcher planning to driver execution to CPO confirmation. That's real traction. ### What's Next? With the fresh capital, FRYTE plans to expand its commercial team and deepen integrations with CPOs and their CPMS. They'll also continue building out their reservation functionality, following successful pilots with partners like TRATON Charging Solutions (MAN Charge & Go), FIEGE, Fraport AG, Energie Südbayern, and Dettendorfer Energy. "Our product is ready for scale, and the foundation we've built with partners like TRATON, Fraport and Energie Südbayern proves it," says Zähringer, CEO and co-founder.
