The creator economy has a dirty secret: most of the work isn't creative. It's chasing replies, writing briefs, and figuring out how to pay someone in another country. A Stockholm-based startup called Fluencify just raised $4.3 million to automate all of that away. The oversubscribed pre-Seed round was led by byFounders, with participation from Wave Ventures. The funding comes on the heels of serious momentum—Fluencify hit $2 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) just six months after launching its platform. Magnus Hambleton of byFounders is joining the board. ### Why Investors Are Paying Attention Hambleton sees a fundamental shift happening. "As building products becomes easy, getting the word out about them has only gotten more important," he said in a statement. "User-generated content is the purest way to do so: users recruit new users." That's the core thesis here. Fluencify isn't another tool that helps you manage campaigns. It's an AI-run service that runs the entire campaign for you—from finding creators to scheduling posts to handling cross-border payments. The founders bring serious street cred. CEO Erik Romdhane started in creator marketing as a teenager and sold his first influencer agency at 17. Co-founders Isaac Norin and Sam Stones Hälleberg built an AI voice note app in high school. Hälleberg alone amassed over 1 million followers and 500 million views on Instagram. ### How Fluencify Actually Works Here's the workflow: a brand describes what it wants from a campaign, and Fluencify's AI agents take it from there. They handle creator discovery, matching, outreach, and reply management. Once a creator is confirmed, the platform automatically schedules posts, manages paid boosting, and processes payments across 85+ countries. What makes this different from existing software? Fluencify runs the campaign rather than selling you a tool. And unlike traditional agencies, it does the work with automated agents instead of account managers. The company also operates on an ambassador model. Creators work with brands on a recurring basis, not just one-off sponsored posts. That means more predictable income for creators and continuous marketing for brands. ### The Numbers Behind the Hype Fluencify's platform already has more than 13,000 active creators. The brands it works with have a combined market capitalization of $30 billion. Its clients span consumer and prosumer software companies—AI tools, productivity apps, education platforms, and consumer apps that demo well on camera. Romdhane knows the pain points firsthand. "From my experience on both sides of the table, as an influencer and running an agency, I found the creative elements of the work were the smallest part," he said. "Most of the hours went to finding the right creators, chasing replies, writing briefs, developing content, and paying people across borders." His solution? Build a system where a brand can simply describe the outcome it wants and get the campaign run end-to-end, without all the legwork. ### What's Next for Fluencify The new capital will go toward hiring engineers in Stockholm, opening a New York office, building out US sales, expanding the creator network, and strengthening the product for existing clients. The US expansion is clearly a priority—Romdhane mentioned scaling into the US with this backing. For brands drowning in the manual grind of creator marketing, Fluencify's pitch is simple: focus on the outcome, not the process. For creators, it means a steadier stream of work and payments that actually show up on time. That's a win-win worth watching.
