Czech startup FLÆ Robotics raises over $1.1M to grow BE-A, an AI agent that handles hotel bookings and guest requests. Already live in 60+ hotels across Europe.

### A Small Czech Startup With a Big Idea FLÆ Robotics, a Czech startup you've probably never heard of, just raised over $1.1 million in Seed funding. That's roughly €1 million, but let's keep it in dollars since we're talking about a company that's already making waves across Europe. The round was led by Purple Ventures and Garage Angels. The money will go toward product development, deeper integrations with hotel systems, team growth, and international expansion. All of it supports BE-A, their AI hospitality agent. So what's the big deal? BE-A isn't just another chatbot that answers FAQs. It actually does things. It completes bookings, handles guest requests, and works inside hotel systems without a human lifting a finger. ### Why Hotels Are Paying Attention Hotel teams deal with a ton of repetitive stuff every day. Emails, phone calls, booking changes, special requests. It adds up fast, and it eats into the time staff could spend actually helping guests. Filip Linek, founder and CEO of FLÆ Robotics, put it simply: "Hotel teams handle a large volume of repetitive enquiries and tasks every day across email, phone and other channels. We are developing BE-A to go beyond answering questions and carry out the next step within hotel systems. This gives staff more time for guests and situations that need their experience and judgement." That's the key. BE-A doesn't just respond. It acts. And that's a big difference. ### The Funding Landscape Is Heating Up FLÆ Robotics isn't alone in this space. European investors are pouring money into AI-powered hospitality software like never before. Just look at these recent rounds: - Oslo-based Altek AI raised about $460,000 to develop autonomous guest communication and deeper hotel system integrations. - Germany's happyhotel secured around $7 million to advance AI agents for hotel revenue management. - Italy's profitize picked up roughly $1.5 million for AI-powered hospitality financial planning. - Berlin-based Bounti raised about $4.3 million in the adjacent operational automation segment. Together, those four rounds add up to about $13.3 million in disclosed funding, excluding FLÆ Robotics. That's a lot of faith in AI's ability to fix hospitality's biggest headaches. ### What BE-A Actually Does BE-A is already live in more than 60 hotels across the United Kingdom, Germany, and the Czech Republic. And the numbers are impressive. In July and August 2026, the platform handled roughly 265,000 messages and voice interactions across nearly 160,000 conversations. That's over 4,000 interactions per day. During the same period, it completed more than 3,400 hotel bookings without any human intervention. Think about that. Thousands of bookings, zero human involvement. That's not just a chatbot. That's a fully autonomous agent. > "We invested in FLÆ Robotics because BE-A is already solving a very real problem for hotels and proving its value in day-to-day operations. The team combines strong hospitality experience with a clear product vision and international ambition. We believe there is significant potential to scale BE-A across European and global hotel markets." > — Jan Davídek, General Partner at Purple Ventures ### What's Next for FLÆ Robotics With this new funding, FLÆ Robotics plans to expand BE-A's capabilities, deepen integrations with hotel systems, and support more hotels in international markets. The company was founded in 2023 by Filip Linek, so it's still young. But it's moving fast. The hospitality industry has been slow to adopt AI, but that's changing. Hotels are realizing that automating repetitive tasks doesn't mean replacing people. It means freeing them up to do what they do best: take care of guests. And if BE-A keeps delivering results like it has, it won't be long before more hotels across the U.S. and beyond start paying attention. After all, a tool that handles thousands of bookings without human help isn't just convenient. It's a competitive advantage. For now, FLÆ Robotics is focused on Europe. But with this fresh injection of cash, don't be surprised if they set their sights on American hotels next. The problem they're solving is universal, and the solution is already working.
