Cloudgeni, an Oslo-based startup, just grabbed $1 million in seed funding to scale its AI agents that build and operate cloud infrastructure more safely. This fresh capital comes from a group of Nordic investors, including the byFounders Angel Collective, Norwegian VCs Startuplab and Antler, Remarkable's CEO Vegard Gullaksen Veiteberg, and serial entrepreneur Nicolaj Hojer Nielsen. ### What Cloudgeni Does Founded in 2024 by Iuliia Petryshyn Thuen and Davlet Dzhakishev, Cloudgeni builds an AI-powered platform that automatically detects, fixes, and proves the security and compliance of cloud setups. Think of it as a tireless automated guard that spots misconfigurations before they become problems. According to the company, cloud misconfigurations cause 99% of cloud security failures, and managing governance gets pricier every year. “We're glad to have smart investors backing our next phase,” said Thuen, co-founder and COO. “With our product validated in Norway, we're focusing on expansion across the Nordics and the US, where we just got our first paying customer.”  ### The Problem It Solves Cloud environments are getting crazy complex.
