Manchester-based BidScript raises $800K to help businesses win more public and private contracts with AI. Early customers see up to 50% higher win rates. The platform automates the entire tender process from finding bids to submitting them.
Manchester-based BidScript, an AI-native tender management platform, just closed a $800,000 funding round, bringing its total pre-Seed capital to over $1 million. The company helps businesses find, qualify, write, and submit bids for public and private sector contracts—and early results show win rates jumping up to 50%.
### What BidScript Actually Does
Bidding for contracts is a massive pain for most companies. We're talking hundreds of billions of dollars in awards each year, yet most teams still rely on manual spreadsheets and shared drives. It's slow, error-prone, and eats up resources.
BidScript's AI platform automates the whole process. It helps you find relevant tenders, qualify them, manage the paperwork, and even write and submit bids. The focus is on construction, engineering, IT, and education—sectors where tendering is especially demanding.
### The Funding Details
The latest round includes follow-on investment from NPIF II – PXN Equity Finance, managed by PXN Ventures, plus new money from SFC Capital. Henry Brogan, co-founder and CEO, says the funds will help expand into new markets and geographies.
"General-purpose AI doesn't meet the standards for high-stakes tendering," Brogan explains. "It's a niche that demands deep expertise. BidScript embodies that principle."
### A Growing Trend in Procurement Tech
BidScript's raise is part of a bigger wave. Across Europe, investors are pouring money into procurement and RFP automation. EU-Startups tracked about $53.8 million in 2026 rounds for similar companies, including:
- Paris-based Pivot's $37.5 million Series B for agentic AI procurement
- Bolzano-based Soource's $3.3 million Seed for procurement intelligence
- Košice-based Definic's $2.7 million Seed for vendor intelligence
- Helsinki-based Realm's $4.1 million Seed for AI-assisted RFP and sales materials
- Sofia-based Mandel AI's $3.9 million Seed for supplier coordination and automated procurement
- Munich-based Ark Climate's $2.3 million pre-Seed for municipal software
In the UK, London-based Fivium got an undisclosed minority investment for public-sector software, and Stotles raised $12.5 million Series A in 2025 for tender tracking and public-sector sales.
### Why Investors Believe in BidScript
Harry Manley, Investment Associate at PXN Ventures, saw the potential early. "Our investment into BidScript was one of the first checks written from our inaugural PraeSeed programme," he says. "Watching the business grow has been inspiring. We believe in Henry and his co-founder Tyler and the problem they're solving."
Ed Stevenson from SFC Capital adds: "Henry and Tyler are tackling a problem most people overlook—the antiquated system of managing public and private contracts. They've built real traction early, and their sector focus and commercial discipline are exactly what we look for at pre-Seed."
### What's Next for BidScript
Founded in 2023 by childhood friends Henry Brogan and Tyler McCarthy while they were still at university, BidScript is now serving customers across the UK, US, and Middle East. The new funding will help the team grow, develop the product further, and expand into new markets.
If you're tired of losing bids to outdated processes, BidScript might be worth a look. The numbers speak for themselves: up to 50% higher win rates. That's not just incremental improvement—that's a game changer.
