Aizy Buys Uptmz After $2.3M Raise to Build Unified Ad Platform

AI marketing platform Aizy acquires Uptmz after $2.3M raise to create an integrated ad platform for Google, Microsoft, and Meta. Combined company serves 600+ customers.

AI marketing software company Aizy has acquired fellow Dutch industry player Uptmz, with plans to create an integrated advertising platform for Google, Microsoft, and Meta. The goal? Bring together software, AI-powered optimization, and strategic support within a single ecosystem. Today's news follows their $2.3 million raise back in February and their $25.4 million valuation. Not bad for a company that's only been around since 2024. "This acquisition is a major step forward. We were already building strong momentum, but bringing Uptmz and Aizy together, serving more than 600 customers across multiple countries, gives us a unique opportunity to take a lead in a market that is still in its early stages," shares Stefan Nuijten, founder of Aizy, with EU-Startups. ### What This Deal Actually Means Let's be real for a second. The marketing tech space is crowded. Everyone's throwing AI on everything and calling it a revolution. But Aizy's play here is different. They're not just adding another tool to the pile. They're trying to build something that actually works together. Think about how most businesses run ads today. You've got one platform for Google Ads, another for Microsoft Advertising, and yet another for Meta. Then you need a separate AI tool to optimize everything. And if you want actual human strategy? That's another vendor entirely. It's a mess. Aizy wants to fix that by combining three things under one roof: - The software itself - AI-powered optimization - Real human expertise from performance marketing specialists ### The Bigger Picture: A Wave of AI M&A Aizy's acquisition of Uptmz follows notable funding and M&A activity within their sector. Specifically, European software companies applying AI to marketing execution, creative workflows, search visibility, sales intelligence, and e-commerce operations are getting snapped up fast. The closest direct comparables are Searchable and DOJO AI, both focused on AI-enabled marketing infrastructure. Dragonfly AI and First Concepts sit in adjacent creative and agency workflows. Outcraft AI, Sillage, Kopa.ai, and Webidoo broaden the context into revenue execution, go-to-market automation, and SMB operating layers. Against this backdrop, Aizy's move to combine AI-driven campaign optimization, multichannel advertising software, and specialist support is consistent with a wider shift. Platforms that reduce fragmentation across marketing and commercial workflows are winning. "This acquisition is highly strategic for us," adds Stefan. "Over the past seven years, Uptmz has built an exceptional product, robust, highly scalable, and trusted by hundreds of customers. We have focused on AI intelligence combined with human expertise. Together, this gives us the best of both worlds: intuitive technology on the software side and real intelligence on the strategy and execution side. It sets a new benchmark for AI-driven performance marketing and gives us a meaningful lead over many of the newer initiatives entering the market." ### Who's Who in This Deal **Aizy** was founded in 2024. It's an AI-powered performance marketing platform that combines artificial intelligence with the expertise of performance marketing specialists. Businesses and agencies can independently optimize campaigns across Google, Microsoft, and Meta through the platform. Or they can fully outsource campaign management to the Aizy team. **Uptmz** has a longer history. Originally developed in 2019 within agency group Springbok Group, it evolved into a highly technical performance marketing platform focused on Google and Microsoft advertising. Strong emphasis on automation and scalability. In 2022, Uptmz became an independent company to accelerate growth. As part of Aizy, the platform will continue to scale within an AI-first environment. ### Why This Matters for Customers Through the acquisition, Aizy says they're responding to growing demand for performance marketing technology that goes beyond standalone AI tools or fragmented automation solutions. "Over the past seven years, we have built a scalable and technically advanced platform that is now used daily by hundreds of customers," adds Vincent Stoit, co-founder of Uptmz. "At the same time, we increasingly see businesses looking for a multichannel approach and strategic guidance that goes beyond software alone. In Aizy, we found a partner capable of accelerating our technology roadmap while helping customers navigate their next phase of growth." While many platforms focus on isolated functionalities, Aizy and Uptmz combine software, AI, and specialist expertise within one integrated platform. Customers of both companies will gain access to a unified ecosystem where they can manage everything from one place. ### What's Next The combined company now serves more than 600 customers across multiple countries. That's a solid base to build from. The market for AI-driven marketing platforms is still in its early stages, and Aizy is positioning itself as a leader before the real land grab begins. Will it work? Hard to say. But the logic is sound. Businesses are tired of juggling ten different tools. If Aizy can deliver on the promise of a single platform that handles software, AI, and human strategy, they might just have something special.
