### The Funding Round
Accel led the round, with participation from Bek Ventures, Kaya VC, Inovo VC, and Tenacity Capital. A star-studded group of angel investors also joined, including Slack co-founders Stewart Butterfield and Cal Henderson, Vercel founder Guillermo Rauch, Synthesia CEO Victor Riparbelli, Framer co-founders Koen Bok and Jorn van Dijk, Deel co-founder Alex Bouaziz, plus Lenny Rachitsky and Harry Stebbings. Executives from DeepMind, Figma, and Lovable also participated.
They join existing backers like Leonis Capital, Oxford Seed Fund, former GitHub CEO Nat Friedman, former Y Combinator/Apple AI head Daniel Gross, Charlie Songhurst, Nico Rosberg, and ElevenLabs co-founder Mati Staniszewski.

### What Viktor Actually Does
Founded in 2023 by former Meta engineers Fryderyk Wiatrowski and Peter Albert, Viktor is positioned as an AI hire, not just another tool. It lives in Slack and Teams, integrates with your existing systems, and takes responsibility for outcomes like a real colleague would.
Here's what companies use Viktor for:
- Creating reports, dashboards, and apps
- Running marketing campaigns
- Writing code and building recurring automations
- Analyzing live data on demand
- Researching competitors and developing internal tools
After joining a company, Viktor studies how the business operates, spots repetitive work, and proposes projects to the team. It might automate a marketing workflow or rebuild a broken internal process.
### The Numbers That Matter
Viktor launched publicly in February 2026. Within just 10 weeks, it hit a $15 million revenue run rate. Over 2,000 organizations globally now use it, from small businesses and agencies to ecommerce companies and tech startups.
Most organizations using Viktor integrate over 30 applications into the platform. That gives teams a unified interface for work that used to be scattered across multiple systems.
### Real Results
The company shared some impressive case studies:
- A health and lifestyle group cut $4.5 million from a construction project budget
- A founder built the infrastructure for a $1 million-per-year content agency with zero staff in just nine days
- A landscaping business rolled out 63 automations across operations, HR, collections, and email in two weeks
### Why This Matters
Zhenya Loginov, Partner at Accel, said, "Viktor finally merges the worlds of collaboration and AI that have previously remained separate. We see an opportunity..."
Fryderyk Wiatrowski, CEO and co-founder, put it this way: "The next phase of AI is agents that join your company, understand how work gets done, and take responsibility for outcomes. Viktor is designed to be an AI employee -- one that can run projects, complete recurring tasks, build tools and help a company move faster. We're seeing teams treat Viktor like a hire, and that is the shift we want to bring to every company."
### The Bigger Picture
Viktor is one of the first agents that can operate autonomously for weeks, not just minutes. It maintains context across thousands of emails, documents, and tools while working. Any employee can message Viktor like a colleague to analyze live data, create a board-ready report, or deploy code.
When Viktor finishes a task, it delivers work in formats companies already use: PDFs, spreadsheets, presentations, deployed apps, code commits, and workflow automations. Teams can go from a Slack message to a completed report without switching systems or stitching together context manually.
This is a big deal for businesses drowning in tools and fragmented workflows. Viktor promises to be the glue that holds everything together, acting like a real team member who just gets things done.
